TNS Research Grant      *Deadline Oct. 31st*

The TNS board approved a grant to fund research in an area of interest for TNS members  and their patients.

The goals of the grant are to encourage research aimed at improving and supporting neurological practices, education, disease awareness and prevention as well as patient supported activities.  Approved grants should benefit the TNS membership, neurologists and patients with neurological diseases in Texas.

The grant application is open (but not limited) to TNS members, neurology residents and medical students in Texas. Neuroscientists and non-TNS neurologists may also apply; however, we strongly encouraged those applicants to become a member of TNS.

Neurology patient care organizations may also apply for the grant.

Applications will be reviewed by the TNS Grants Committee as well as the TNS Board. Grant winner(s) will be announced at the TNS winter conference in Austin (February) and be invited to present their work upon completion.

Grant winners could receive up to $10,000.
