When and where is the 2026 TNS Summer Conference?
The TNS Summer Conference will take place starting Friday, July 31 and go through Saturday, August 1st at the La Cantera Hotel in San Antonio, Texas. 
    
   
Does TNS offer single day registration for the conference?
At this time, TNS does NOT offer single day registration. You can only register for the full conference. 
  
  
What will be provided a the Summer Conference?
The following will be available at the TNS Summer Conference
  • Basic Wireless Internet
  • Self-Parking
  • A copy of the agenda, and information about the conference. 
  • The conference meeting app. 

  

Will presentations be available on-site?
Yes, speaker permissioned presentations will be available on-site on the Summer Conference meeting app. 
  
  
What is the suggested dress code for attending the conference?
Smart casual/business casual. We want you to be comfortable for learning and networking. Conference rooms tend to be cold, so we strongly suggest you have a sweater on hand. 
  
  

 

Registration

How do I register for the APP Skills Workshop?
The skills workshop will appear as an option you can select when registering for the conference. There is an additional registration fee for the workshop, and space is limited. 
  
  
When is the deadline to claim CME for the Summer Conference?
The deadline to complete your Speaker Evaluation and claim your CME credits will be Monday, August 10, 2026. 
 
 
What is the cancellation policy?
TNS must receive notice of cancellation for refund postmarked no later than July 26, 2026. A $25 processing fee will be deducted from the registration fee paid to cover processing charges. Non-attendance does not constitute notice of cancellation. You can contact us here to cancel your registration. 
  
  
Is there an option to attend the Summer Conference virtually?
At this time, TNS does not offer a virtual option for the Annual Summer Conference. 
  
  
I haven't received my confirmation email or any emails from TNS - what do I do?
Please log-in to your TNS profile and confirm your profile and account are up to date. Once you have completed this step, please contact the TNS office and we will resend your confirmation email. 
  
  
  

 
  

Programming

How do I obtain my CME's for the Summer Conference? 
You will receive an email on Monday, August 3rd with your speaker evaluation. Complete this speaker evaluation to obtain your CME's 
  
How many CMEs, CNE's and Ethics are offered at the Summer Conference?
Continuing Medical Education
This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of the Texas Medical Association and the Texas Neurological Society. The Texas Medical Association is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physician. 
  
The Texas Medical Association designates this live activity for a maximum of 8.75 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. 
  
Continuing Nursing Education
This activity has been submitted to Montana Nurses Association for approval to award contact hours. Montana Nurses Association is accredited with distinction as an approver of continuing nurses education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation. 
  
Ethics
The presentation on Saturday, August 1 fulfills one hour of professional responsibility required to Texas licensure. 
  
  
What is the deadline for claiming my CMEs?

Residents, Fellows, and Medical Students

I am a medical student, can I attend the Summer Conference?
Yes! We'd love for you to attend the 2026 TNS Summer Conference! As a Medical Student you can access your conference registration discount by signing up for a Trainee TNS Membership. 
  
  
What is the housing stipend for Residents, Fellows, and Medical Students at the Summer Conference?
TNS offers a housing stipend to all Texas residents/fellows who attend the meeting and are not located in the San Antonio area. Each resident/fellow will receive their housing stipend via email at the CONCLUSION of the conference. This form should be filled out and returned to the TNS office within ONE WEEK  of the meeting. Each resident/fellow will be reimbursed for one night in the host hotel or equivalent hotel (up to $289.00 plus tax). 
  
*Those ineligible for the housing stipend include Medical Students; Residents/Fellows attending programs OUTSIDE the state of Texas; International Medical Graduates; and local (San Antonio area) residents/fellows.
